ARE YOU SEEKING SALVATION?

In whatever way you are being called by Jesus to seek Him for salvation, come and confess from your heart the very same words you see below, believing that Jesus is your only hope and asking Him to become the ONE Lord of your life. Don’t rush it, dwell on each portion for a moment and consider what it is you are confessing and the salvation for which you are seeking Jesus.

Dear Jesus,

Have mercy upon me, O Lord,
According to Your love and kindness;
According to the multitude of Your tender mercies,
Blot out my sins.
Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity,
And cleanse me from my sin.

I acknowledge my sins,
And my sin is always before me.
Against You, You only, have I sinned,
And done evil in Your sight—
That You may be found just when You speak,
And blameless when You judge.

I was brought forth in iniquity,
And in sin my mother conceived me.
You desire truth inside of me,
And in the hidden part You will make me to know wisdom.

Purge me, and I shall be clean;
Wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.
Make me hear joy and gladness,
That the bones You have broken may rejoice.
Hide Your face from my sins,
And blot out all my iniquities.

Create in me a clean heart, O God,
And put a steadfast spirit within me.
Do not cast me away from Your presence,
And do not keep Your Holy Spirit from me.

Extend to me the joy of Your salvation,
And uphold me by Your generous Spirit.
Then I will bear witness of Your ways,
And sinners shall be converted to You.

Deliver me from the guilt my sins, O God,
The God of my salvation,
And my tongue shall sing aloud of Your righteousness.
Open my lips,
And my mouth will praise you.
You do not desire sacrifice, or else I would give it;
You do not delight in burnt offering.

The sacrifices you ask of me are a broken spirit,
A broken and a repentant heart—
These, Lord Jesus, You will not despise. – Psalm 51

The Bible tells us in that if we say we have no sin, then we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us, but if we confess our sins He (Jesus) is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Ground yourself in the Word of God and abide in Him through prayer, thanksgiving and in the assurance that Jesus will keep His promise of salvation as you grow in grace.
